Organizing Specialist

Granbury, TX - Part Time

Caring Transitions of Granbury is seeking someone with superior customer service, decision making skills, flexibility in schedule, and physical stamina.
You MUST have a clean and clear background, a valid driver’s license,
reliable transportation, and three references. Must be 18 years old or older.

Typical Tasks of a Caring Transitions Employee

  • Sort through drawers, closets, cabinets, pantries, using good judgement to keep, dispose of, or donate items
  • Rearrange furniture, rugs, etc.
  • Load/unload tables, bins of supplies and other equipment
  • Consolidate like items for staging and prepare for sale by wiping down, repairing, etc.
  • Clear garage and/or attic of trash and bulk items, utilizing dumpster for disposal
  • Pack personal item ranging from fragile to bulky
  • Interact with senior clients and family members in an authentic manner
  • Determine value of estate items, based on experience, knowledge and using online resources
  • Sweep/vacuum floors at the conclusion of estate sales

Employees Will Be Required to:

  • Lift up to 30 pounds
  • Stand on feet for long periods of time, bending and stooping frequently
  • Exhibit excellent judgement
  • Work independently and as part of a team

This position is flexible and based on an as-needed basis. Our work is based on client’s needs and timing.
This is the perfect position for an active early retiree, parents who have spare time, or someone who is NOT dependent on a minimum amount of hours per week. Our work takes place in client’s homes. You must be willing and able to drive to their homes within our territory and work with our team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
