At Caring Transitions of Milford we're dedicated to making a difference in the lives of seniors and their families. Our mission is to provide compassionate and professional support through senior relocation, downsizing, and estate sales services. As we expand our reach, we're looking for a motivated and compassionate Business Development Representative (BDR) with a background in senior communities to join our team.

Role Overview:

The BDR will be pivotal in driving our growth by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships within senior communities, and enhancing our presence in the market. This role requires a unique blend of compassion, dedication, and business acumen to support our mission of helping seniors and their families navigate significant life transitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business opportunities through cold calling and lead generation.
  • Attend and actively participate in various networking events within the senior community and related industries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior communities, healthcare providers, and other referral sources.
  • Demonstrate a compassionate approach when interacting with seniors, their families, and community partners.
  • Manage and track all sales activities and opportunities within our CRM system to ensure timely follow-up and reporting.
  • Work closely with the team to develop and implement strategic marketing and sales plans.
  • Possess strong MS Office skills for effective communication, proposal creation, and reporting.
  • Assist in managing and updating the company's social media profiles, engaging with our community and promoting our services online.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales as a BDR or similar role, preferably with a background in senior communities or healthcare.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of individuals and groups.
  • Demonstrated ability in cold calling, lead generation, networking, and particularly in managing and growing social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram) to enhance brand presence and engage with the community.
  • Expertise in CRM software for sales tracking and management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • A compassionate and understanding approach to addressing the needs of seniors and their families.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel locally for networking events and meetings
