Business Development Representative
Caring Transitions of Seattle Central is looking for an experienced Business Development Representative to join our growing team. This is our first hire, so we’re seeking someone with a proven sales background who is passionate about serving the community and supporting seniors.
This role is super flexible, perfect for retired professionals, stay-at-home parents, military veterans, or teachers looking for meaningful part-time work. You’ll help families, real estate professionals, and senior living communities discover how Caring Transitions can make life’s biggest transitions easier.
Responsibilities
Prospect and qualify leads: Reach out to potential clients via phone, email, or in-person visits to introduce our services and generate interest.
Manage current accounts and community relationships: Build and maintain relationships with referral partners, clients, and senior-focused organizations. Coordinate in-person meetings and visits as needed.
Find referrals: Identify opportunities for new business by asking satisfied clients, partners, and community contacts for referrals.
Drive community engagement: Visit local partners, senior centers, and real estate professionals to raise awareness of Caring Transitions.
Customer support: Answer basic client questions and ensure every interaction reflects our care-focused approach.
Track leads and progress: Document outreach in CRM tools and spreadsheets to manage follow-ups and measure success.
Requirements
Proven experience in sales, business development, or client relations.
Passion for serving the community and helping seniors.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable with light driving to local partners or events.
Comfortable using CRM software, MS Excel, and tracking sales metrics.
Highly organized, results-driven, and self-motivated.
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required — experience matters most.
