The Short Story:
At Caring Transitions of Ellicott City, we don’t just move boxes; we move lives. We’re looking for a structured, decisive, and high-energy Project & Field Operations Manager to lead our teams across Howard and Anne Arundel County. If you’re a logistics wizard who loves a good spreadsheet but isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves in the field, you’re exactly who we’re looking for.

🎯 Your Mission (If You Choose to Accept It)

You’ll be the "air traffic control" for our move and online auction projects. Your goal? To make sure every project is executed as planned, on time, and a whole lot of heart.

  • Lead the Troops: Manage and mentor our field teams, ensuring everyone is on time, on task, and having a great time doing it.

  • The Master Plan: Create detailed project roadmaps that outline exactly how we’re going to get from "cluttered house" to "clean slate."

  • Client Whisperer: You’ll be the main point of contact for families during their transition, setting expectations and then smashing them.

  • The Bottom Line: Keep a sharp eye on labor efficiency and project margins—ensuring we deliver top-tier service while keeping the business healthy.

  • Problem Solver in Chief: When a piano won't fit through a door or an auction item goes missing, you’re the one with the "Plan B" (and C).

🛠 What You Bring to the Table

  • The Logistics Brain: You have 1-3 years of project management experience (PMP certification gets you a gold star!).

  • Field-Ready Energy: This isn’t a "sit behind a desk" job. You love being out in the world, moving between job sites, and staying active.

  • The Ellicott City Local: You reside within reach of our territory and know the Howard/Anne Arundel area like the back of your hand.

  • Tech Savvy: You’re a pro at task prioritization and can navigate our systems without breaking a sweat.

🌟 Why You’ll Love Us

  • Work That Matters: You’ll see the direct impact of your work on seniors and families every single day.

  • Growth Mindset: We’re growing fast, and you’ll report directly to ownership with a real seat at the table.

  • Culture of Support: We promote a work environment where staff accountability meets genuine kindness.

  • The Perks: Flexible schedule, free parking at the office, casual dress code, paid mileage, constant contests and prizes, no nights, Sundays, or major holidays, professional development, plus the satisfaction of knowing no two days will ever be the same.
  • The Pay: $19 - $22 per hour based on experience. Starting at 25 hours per week, with the opportunity to grow to 35 - 40 hours per week very quickly.
