Your Role:
As the Move/Clean-Out Team Lead, you’ll oversee the logistics of moving and clean-out projects, ensuring our clients’ belongings are treated with the utmost care. You’ll lead a team to pack trucks efficiently, transport furniture, and execute projects with precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Projects: Manage and guide the team to complete moving and clean-out tasks efficiently and professionally.
- Furniture Handling: Disassemble and reassemble beds, furniture, and other large items.
- Hanging Expertise: Hang photos, TVs, and other items as requested by clients.
- Truck Operations: Safely pack and secure items in 15-26 foot trucks to prevent damage during transit.
- Driving: Operate a large truck safely and adhere to traffic and safety regulations.
- Lifting: Move and lift heavy items (up to 100 lbs) using proper techniques and equipment.
- Client Interaction: Communicate respectfully and professionally with clients to address concerns and ensure satisfaction.
- Safety: Maintain a safe work environment by following all company protocols and using equipment properly.
Flexibility Is Essential:
This is a per-project position, with work scheduled as needed. Winter months may be slower, but as we grow, opportunities for more hours and full-time work will expand. This role is ideal for someone seeking flexibility with the potential for long-term growth.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in moving, logistics, or a related field.
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy items (up to 100 lbs) with proper equipment.
- Skilled in disassembling and reassembling furniture.
- Experience hanging items like photos and TVs.
- Knowledge of safe and efficient truck packing techniques.
- Valid driver’s license and experience driving 15-26 foot trucks.
- Strong organizational and team leadership skills.
- Commitment to professionalism and client satisfaction.
