Looking for a flexible, active job where you’re not stuck behind a desk? Caring Transitions of Parsippany is looking for dependable, energetic team members to help with moves, downsizing projects, home cleanouts and estate transitions throughout Morris County. This is a great opportunity for college students, recent grads or anyone looking for flexible part-time work and extra income.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Pack and organize household belongings; safely carry boxes and move furniture; help load and unload during moves; assist with home cleanouts and removal of items for donation or discard; sort household contents with care; help identify interesting or valuable items that should be retained, evaluated or sold on a client’s behalf; assist with preparation for online estate auctions; and work respectfully and patiently with seniors and their families.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Someone who is reliable, positive, hardworking and comfortable working as part of a team. You should be able to safely lift boxes, furniture and household items and be respectful and careful when working in clients’ homes. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have dependable transportation and be able to pass a background check. A valid driver’s license is preferred. No professional moving or cleanout experience is required - we’ll teach you what you need to know.

$20/hour with flexible, project-based daytime hours. It’s active, hands-on work where every day is different. You’ll learn about moving, downsizing, estate auctions, vintage items and resale while being part of a friendly local team and doing work that genuinely helps people.
