About us
We help seniors and families through downsizing, relocation, estate sales, online auctions, and home cleanouts. Our work is meaningful, hands‑on, and rooted in the local community. We’re looking for an upbeat, people‑first salesperson who loves meeting new people, building long‑term relationships, and helping grow a trusted local service. We can teach the services; we need someone confident on the phone, energized by networking, and excited to represent a mission‑driven business.

The role
You’ll be the front line of growth—reaching out to new referral sources, keeping relationships warm, and turning introductions into real opportunities for clients and team members.

You’ll do these things daily

  1. Build referral relationships

  • Cold call and outreach to senior living communities, assisted living, estate or elder law attorneys, Realtors, financial planners, senior placement pros, social workers, and other potential partners

  • Schedule and run short intro meetings or tours

  • Attend networking and community outreach events

  • Follow up consistently and represent Caring Transitions professionally

  1. Qualify leads and coordinate

  • Gather initial info from incoming leads

  • Coordinate appointments between prospects and our operations team

  • Ensure smooth handoff from referral partners to field team

  1. Manage accounts and CRM

  • Keep regular contact with existing referral partners

  • Share updates, educational materials, and request referrals

  • Log outreach and conversations in CRM; keep notes organized

  • Track performance: contacts, meetings, referral volume

What we’re looking for

  • Outgoing personality who genuinely enjoys cold calling and meeting new people

  • Self‑starter, organized, and motivated by visible results

  • Good communicator who can listen, follow up, and build trust

  • Reliable transportation for local travel

  • Comfortable using phone, email, and basic tools; willing to learn CRM

  • Experience in senior communities, healthcare, real estate, or referral‑based sales is a plus, but not required—if you’re the right fit, we’ll teach the rest

Work environment

  • Mostly office and community outreach; some local driving and off‑site meetings

  • Flexible, part‑time hours based on outreach and events

Compensation

  • Hourly pay range shown above, plus performance bonuses

  • Range listed in good faith for this region and role, consistent with NY pay transparency guidance.

Why this role is great

  • Effort directly translates to impact and bonuses

  • Clear path to more responsibility in a growing local business

  • Help seniors and families in your community

  • Flexible schedule ideal for someone building income or a side career
