Caring Transitions of Essex is seeking an organized, compassionate Team Lead to help oversee our downsizing, senior relocation, estate clean-out, and online auction projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can keep a small team organized, solve problems, and provide excellent service to seniors and their families.

Our Team Leads work alongside the team while providing direction, monitoring project progress, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to Caring Transitions standards.

What You’ll Do

Lead and support Team Members on client projects
Organize and sort items for relocation, resale, donation, or disposal
Oversee packing, unpacking, and client resettling
Assist with online auctions, estate clean-outs, and buyer pickups
Assign tasks and keep projects on schedule
Train and mentor Team Members
Communicate daily progress and concerns to management
Reinforce safety procedures and company standards

What We’re Looking For

Previous leadership, supervisory, or project coordination experience
Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
Dependable, flexible, and comfortable making on-site decisions
Compassion and professionalism when working with seniors and families
Comfortable with smartphones, apps, and basic technology
Able to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift 30+ lbs
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass a background check

This is not a desk-management position. Our Team Leads roll up their sleeves and work alongside the team while providing the leadership needed to keep each project moving.

This is a part-time position with variable hours. Our shifts take place within our typical operating hours of Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM with occasional Saturdays. Do you have the flexibility to work part-time shifts within these hours?*

This position requires traveling to various client job sites throughout the day. Do you have reliable transportation to ensure you can arrive at different locations on time?*

We rely on mobile technology for scheduling, time-tracking, and photographing/creating online auction listings (cataloging items). Are you comfortable utilizing a smartphone or tablet for these types of job duties?*

Even in a leadership capacity, this role remains hand-on and involves sorting, packing, and organizing items in client homes. Are you comfortable standing for the duration of a shift and occasionally lifting and moving items weighing up to 30 pounds?*
