Caring Transitions of Silver Spring North is a veteran-owned senior relocation and estate transition company serving Montgomery and Prince George's Counties. We help seniors and their families navigate downsizing, relocation, and estate sales with compassion and hands-on support.
THE ROLE
Join our field team and make a real difference every day. You'll sort, pack, stage, and resettle household items for seniors in transition, working alongside a supportive team on relocations, downsizing projects, and estate sales. Every project is different, and the care you bring matters. Great for retirees, parents with flexible schedules, or anyone looking for meaningful part-time work. Note: we are not a moving company, professional movers handle furniture and heavy items.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Sort, pack, unpack, and resettle household items
- Stage and price items for estate sales
- Photograph and organize items for online auctions
- Assist clients professionally and compassionately throughout each project
- Follow all safety and conduct policies at all times
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Warm and patient with seniors and their families
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Smartphone required; valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience in moving, organizing, or home services a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; must be 18+
WHAT WE OFFER
- $17–$20/hr based on experience
- Flexible, part-time on-call schedule
- Consistent 15–20 hrs/week available after successful 90-day period
- Uniform provided, biweekly pay, 90-day review
- Meaningful work with a veteran-owned, purpose-driven team
