At Caring Transitions of Spanaway, we’re a fast-growing, woman-owned company helping seniors and families through major life transitions—relocations, downsizing, home organization, estate sales, home clear-outs, and online auctions.
This isn’t a desk job. You’ll be on your feet, hands-on, and making a real difference.
What We Do:
- Senior relocations, estate sales, and home clear-outs
- Packing, sorting, and organizing household belongings
- Removing trash and donations from homes
- Identifying sellable items vs. donations
- Preparing items for our online estate sale auctions
- Taking photos of auction items and uploading them to our platform

What We’re Looking For:
- Dependable and motivated (we can train skills—we can’t train reliability)
- Team oriented individual with a positive attitude
- Strongly organized with attention to detail
- Comfortable using smartphones/iPads for photos and uploads
- Able to recognize items of value for resale/auction (or willing to learn)
- Team-oriented and professional in a client’s home
- Able to travel to job sites (reliable transportation required)
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School diploma or equivalent training required
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Professional attitude and demeanor
- Experience in the fields of general labor or warehouse helpful
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
- Frequent lifting, moving, climbing occasionally, transporting, placing and removing household items for staging, liquidation, donation and resettling
- Able to lift up to 40pounds
- Ability to climb a flight of stairs inside or outside of a private residence
- Walking and/or standing in varying weather environments both inside and outside the home in cold and heat with varying weather conditions

Team Leads Needed! We are also hiring Team Leads who can:
- Lead and direct the team on-site
- Communicate directly with clients in a calm, professional way
- Help prepare schedule and keep the day moving
- Take ownership of the job and keep standards high
- Lead positions have the potential for full time hours

Schedule & Location:
- Part-time (hours vary; full-time not guaranteed)
- Flexible scheduling—we can work around your availability
- Typical shifts: Monday–Friday, 10 AM–4 PM, with occasional Saturdays
- Job sites across: Spanaway, Eatonville, Roy, Yelm, Rainier, Tenino, Lacey, and Olympia
- Home office located in Tenino
