Estate Project Specialist

ABOUT THE ROLE

Caring Transitions of West Jacksonville is looking for a reliable, adaptable team member to support estate projects from start to finish. This is a hands-on, multi-function role that blends content creation, physical project work, and client-facing support across our service area.

You'll use AI-assisted tools to generate item descriptions and edit photos, contribute to cleanouts and estate preparation, and support auction logistics — all within real-world environments that require professionalism, physical readiness, and flexibility.

This is not a desk job. Projects take place in residential homes — sometimes in challenging conditions — and may require travel up to two hours from Jacksonville.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Content & Listings — Photograph estate items and use AI tools to generate and refine item descriptions for online sale platforms; upload and manage listings (training provided)
  • Photo Editing — Use AI-assisted editing tools to process and enhance listing photos to platform standards
  • Estate Preparation — Assist with staging, organizing, and sorting items for photography and sale
  • Cleanouts — Support physical cleanout work including removal, sorting, and disposal coordination as part of project completion
  • Auction Support — Be available for auction pickup days to assist buyers and manage item release logistics
  • Travel — Reliably travel to project sites across the service area, including locations up to two hours away

REQUIREMENTS
  • Comfortable using or quickly learning AI tools (photo editing, writing assistance)
  • Physically capable of cleanout work — lifting, sorting, and working on your feet for extended periods
  • Reliable transportation with valid driver's license — travel up to 2 hours required
  • Able to work in dusty, cluttered, or hoarder-condition environments without issue
  • Flexible availability including daytime hours, weekends, and auction pickup days
  • Dependable, self-directed, and able to follow project direction with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and organized under variable conditions

NICE TO HAVE
  • Background in photography, staging, resale, or estate work
  • Familiarity with online marketplace or estate sale platforms (EstateSales.org, etc.)
  • Experience with AI content or image tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Canva AI, etc.)
