Location: Twin Cities and Surrounding Areas
Schedule: Part-time, flexible | Weekday hours + project-based shifts

As a Caring Transitions Specialist, you’ll organize estates, photograph and list items for CTBids.com, and help families navigate life’s biggest transitions with compassion and care. About Us
At Caring Transitions Twin Cities Central, we believe every item tells a story — and every transition deserves compassion, dignity, and respect.
We help seniors and families through life’s biggest changes — downsizing, relocating, and estate liquidations — giving belongings a second life through CTBids.com and helping families move forward with peace of mind.

What You’ll Do
  • Sort, research, photograph, and describe items for CTBids.com.
  • Identify unique, valuable, or marketable pieces based on resale trends.
  • Organize homes for sale, donation, or disposal with professionalism and care.
  • Assist with auction pickups, greet buyers, verify orders, and ensure smooth hand-offs.
  • Maintain a safe and respectful work environment in a variety of home conditions.
  • Collaborate with a team that values creativity, integrity, and kindness.

What We’re Looking For
  • Positive, dependable team players who take pride in their work.
  • Ability to lift 15-25 lbs safely and repeatedly; bending and kneeling are required.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent using smartphones for photographing, cataloging, and communication.
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and comfort working in diverse home environments.
  • Passion for second-hand finds and knowledge of resale market trends.

Pay & Schedule
  • Starting Pay: $15–$18/hour (based on experience)
  • Schedule: Part-time, project-based weekday hours (typically 10–25 hours per week depending on project flow)
  • Location: Twin Cities Metro & surrounding areas

Requirements
  • Must be 18+ and hold a valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation

This position is part-time with a flexible schedule. Your work schedule will vary based on client needs and your availability. We operate Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. THE NUMBER OF HOURS YOU ARE SCHEDULED MAY VARY EACH WEEK AND NO MINIMUM IS GUARANTEED. Does this fit what you are looking for?*

Caring Transitions uses a mobile app for scheduling, team communications, and other employee functions (i.e. photos and data input). Do you have a smart phone, are proficient using it, and comfortable learning new apps?*
