As a Business Development Representative, you’ll serve as the local face of our territory, building referral relationships with professionals who support seniors and their families every day.
What Success Looks Like Success in this role means consistently building a strong referral pipeline and generating qualified consultations, particularly through senior living communities and trusted community partners.
What You’ll Do
Build and maintain referral relationships with:
Senior living and assisted living communities
Senior placement agents
Realtors
Elder law and estate attorneys
Care managers and related professionals
Schedule meetings, follow up professionally, and maintain thoughtful, persistent outreach
Represent Caring Transitions at networking events and community opportunities
Track outreach activity and results using simple weekly reporting (no corporate red tape)
Support reputation and brand growth by encouraging follow-up, reviews, and referrals
Serve as a trusted connector who makes it easy for partners to say “yes”
Compensation This is a part-time, performance-based role with clear and straightforward bonuses
You’re a Great Fit If You
Have experience in sales, business development, or outreach (service-based experience is a plus)
Are comfortable walking into new places and starting conversations
Are organized and consistent with follow-up
Have reliable transportation and a smartphone
Communicate with empathy and professionalism, especially with seniors and families during stressful moments
Enjoy working independently while staying connected to a supportive team
