About the Role

Love secondhand treasures, organizing merchandise, or photography? Join our liquidation team preparing CTBids online auctions and estate sales.

You'll work under our Liquidation & Cleanout Team Lead alongside other auction and estate sale crew members.

Responsibilities

  • Sort, group, and stage merchandise into auction lots.

  • Photograph items and document brands, quantities, and condition.

  • Produce approximately 4–5 standard photo-ready lots per hour, adjusted for complexity.

  • Assist with premium estate sale pricing, staging, and displays.

  • Prepare value-focused estate sales using organized, unpriced merchandise displays.

  • Identify potentially valuable items for supervisor review.

  • Track inventory and follow merchandise security procedures.

  • Assist with estate sale setup, checkout, and breakdown.

Qualifications

  • Strong organization and attention to detail.

  • Basic smartphone photography skills.

  • Ability to work efficiently and follow production goals.

  • Interest in resale, antiques, collectibles, or secondhand merchandise.

  • Reliable transportation.

  • Estate sale, retail, photography, or online resale experience preferred; training provided.

Physical Requirements

Standing, bending, lifting and carrying merchandise, staging displays, and working in residential properties, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Schedule: Flexible part-time shifts, including occasional weekends.
