Position Summary

The Boutique Sales Associate will be stationed primarily at the front counter but will also stay active on the sales floor assisting customers, restocking merchandise, and helping maintain a beautiful and engaging shop environment. This role is perfect for someone who loves vintage style, enjoys helping people, and thrives in a small business setting.

Schedule

• 3-4 days per week including Saturdays
• 10am - 4pm 

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance
• Operate the cash register and handle customer purchases
• Answer questions and help customers locate items throughout the store
• Assist with merchandising and rotating inventory
• Refresh product displays and help decorate featured areas
• Assist with themed displays and window updates
• Perform light cleaning to maintain a tidy shop environment
• Help pack and ship online or in-store orders
• Assist with product staging and photography for online listings or social media
• Monitor inventory levels and restock as needed
• Support store events or promotions when needed

Qualifications

• Retail, boutique, or customer service experience preferred
• Friendly, outgoing, and positive personality
• Strong attention to detail and visual presentation
• Comfortable multitasking in a customer-facing setting
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Ability to lift and move boxes (up to 30 lbs) as needed
• Interest in antiques, vintage style, or creative retail a plus!
• Basic computer/register skills
