Caring Transitions San Diego is seeking a structured, decisive Project & Field Operations Manager to oversee daily execution of our move and auction projects throughout San Diego County.

This is a field-based leadership role focused on project execution, staff accountability, and operational discipline. You will ensure jobs run efficiently, on schedule, and aligned with scope while maintaining awareness of labor efficiency and project margins.

You will report directly to ownership and play a key role in strengthening operational structure as the company continues to grow.

This is not a remote position and requires applicant to reside within San Diego County. No relocation support is provided. 


What You’ll Do

• Lead and oversee daily field operations for both moves and auctions
• Manage and direct on-site team members
• Ensure projects stay on schedule and aligned with scope
• Maintain labor efficiency and margin awareness
• Serve as primary on-site client contact during projects
• Enforce company SOPs, safety standards, and workflow expectations
• Hold staff accountable to performance standards
• Identify inefficiencies and implement practical solutions
• Oversee materials and supply purchasing
• Support auction-specific project execution and timelines
• Report weekly operational metrics and field updates to ownership

You will be in the field regularly and expected to maintain a visible leadership presence.


Compensation

• $20–$22 per hour, based on experience, to start
• 25 hours per week to start, with opportunity for increased hours based on performance and company growth

• Proven experience in operations, logistics, project management, or field service leadership
• Strong leadership presence and ability to direct teams confidently
• Clear communicator with both staff and clients
• Organized, execution-focused, and deadline-driven
• Comfortable working in active, physical job environments
• Strong awareness of labor efficiency and cost control

Experience managing teams in residential service industries is strongly preferred.


Requirements

• Reliable vehicle and ability to travel throughout San Diego County
• Valid driver’s license and insurance
• Ability to lift, move, and actively participate in physical job environments
• Professional representation of the Caring Transitions brand

Mileage reimbursement provided.
