Business Development Representative

BDR Rep I

PURPOSE: Manage the day to day sales and marketing activities for Caring Transitions. Develop long term network referral sources. Develop short and long term marketing strategies. Serve as the main point of contact with referral sources and suspects/prospects. Work closely with our team to identify and analyze prospect needs and wants. Communicate with prospects to identify and structure goals. Take increasing responsibility for the sales and closing process. Improve and expand the Caring Transitions business through innovation, implementation, documentation and quantification of our marketing processes.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY AREAS • Develop relationships with networking and referral source partners through regular meetings, phone calls and electronic communications • Manage and improve lead generation, assist in converting leads to sales • Coordinate and lead prospect meetings with a prepared agenda • Sell service packages that meet the needs, wants and objectives of senior clients • Schedule and present at trade shows, public education events, and networking events • Work with management and Marketing Support Specialist to originate content and success stories for business communications, social media, referral partners, public education, and media relations • Develop and implement marketing plans, including product positioning, campaign strategies, and market strategy insights • Understand, discover and leverage strategic business opportunities and partnerships • Schedule and manage marketing tactics and activities utilizing cross-functional project management and social media tools • Maintain effective internal communications regarding marketing functions and activities.  This is a hybrid role.  You will work with the owner at their office but will require local travel and ability to work remote.

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS • Prefer relevant experience in marketing with proven success • Demonstrated ability to learn sales skills • Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently; strong ability to set priorities, solve problems, and be resourceful under pressure • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills

Having personally experienced the challenges of caring for her parents during difficult health issues, Veronique is deeply committed to easing these transitions for others. In 2019, when her father had a massive stroke, she moved him closer to her but did not have the support services of Caring Transitions. This personal journey has fueled her dedication to making these transitions smoother and less painful for others.
