Liquidation Specialist works as part of a team to help seniors and their families gracefully get rid of things they no longer need. The work is part-time and can vary from 1-3 days per week. Pay is biweekly and hours can range from 15-50 per 10-day pay period. We are flexible and can accommodate individuals who only have certain days available due to another job or caregiving responsibilities. We work in people's homes, so a reliable vehicle is a requirement, as well as clearance of a background check for criminal prosecution.
Some specific tasks include the following:
- working with seniors and families to sort and organize their things
- creating online auctions using your smartphone and the CTBIDs Seller App. This includes writing descriptions and taking photos of things in people's homes with an eye for maximizing saleability
- working with the team at auction pickups, where buyers come to the client's home to pick up the items they won
- boxing up unwanted items and taking them to a donation center, such as Goodwill or the ReUzit Store using your own vehicle
Locations are generally within a 45-minute driving distance of Lancaster City. We work with clients as far west as Central and Southern York County, all through Lancaster County, and east to Wyomissing and areas south of Reading. Each week you will find yourself in different place.

Pay starts at $15/hr. After a 2-month probation and passing a background check, hourly wage increases to $16/hr. Staff with management responsibilities earn more and everyone gets modest cost of living increases each year.
